As a client, you are responsible for:

  1. Following the instructions of our experienced guides and staff, including safety guidelines, environmental protection policies, and cultural norms.
  2. Respecting the environment and local communities, and minimizing your impact on the environment during the safari.
  3. Ensuring your own health and safety by seeking medical advice and vaccinations before traveling to Uganda and Rwanda, and taking necessary precautions during the safari.
  4. Complying with our safari booking policy, including payment and cancellation policies, and any additional guidelines or instructions provided by our staff.

 

As a safari company, we are responsible for:

  1. Providing accurate and clear information about our safari packages, itinerary, and pricing, and answering any questions or concerns that our clients may have.
  2. Ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients by implementing appropriate safety measures, including experienced guides, appropriate vehicles, and emergency protocols in case of accidents or medical emergencies.
  3. Minimizing our impact on the environment by practicing sustainable tourism practices, including minimizing waste, reducing carbon emissions, and supporting local communities and conservation efforts.
  4. Complying with all applicable laws and regulations related to the safari industry in Uganda and Rwanda.

 

By booking a safari with us, you acknowledge and accept your responsibilities as a client, and our responsibilities as a safari company. Together, we can ensure a safe, enjoyable, and responsible safari experience in Uganda and Rwanda.

To ensure that our clients have access to the best options, we offer three convenient ways to book a safari. Clients can book through a travel agent or a tour operator, who can assist in planning the safari and provide additional information. Alternatively, clients can book directly through our safari company's website, where they can browse our safari packages, itinerary, and pricing.

When a client decides to book a safari, we require a non-refundable deposit to confirm the reservation. This deposit secures the client's place on the safari and allows us to make necessary arrangements. The remaining balance is due before the start of the safari, and we will provide clear information about the payment process.

We understand that unexpected situations can arise, and clients may need to cancel or modify their reservations. However, we kindly ask that clients understand that our non-refundable deposit policy allows us to make necessary arrangements for the safari. We encourage clients to review our cancellation policy before booking and to inform us as soon as possible if they need to cancel or modify their reservation.

We strive to make the reservation process as seamless as possible and ensure that our clients have all the necessary information to make informed decisions. If you have any questions or concerns about the reservation process, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are always here to help.

We believe that our cancellation policy should be fair and reasonable for both our clients and our safari company. If a client needs to cancel their reservation, we will work with them to find the best possible solution.

If a client cancels their reservation more than 60 days before the safari's start date, they will receive a full refund, minus the non-refundable deposit. If the cancellation is made between 31 and 60 days before the safari's start date, the client will receive a 50% refund, minus the non-refundable deposit. If the cancellation is made less than 30 days before the safari's start date, no refund will be provided.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we will always strive to find a fair and reasonable solution for our clients. If a client needs to modify their reservation, we will do our best to accommodate their request, subject to availability and any associated costs.

We encourage clients to review our cancellation policy before booking and to inform us as soon as possible if they need to cancel or modify their reservation. We believe that our cancellation policy provides a fair balance between the client's needs and the requirements of our safari company.

We understand that clients may have specific needs and preferences for their safari itinerary, and we will do our best to accommodate these requests. Clients may request changes to the itinerary before or during the safari, subject to availability and feasibility.

Wayman Safaris reserves the right to modify the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, road conditions, or other factors that may affect the safety or enjoyment of the safari. In such cases, we will work with clients to find alternative options that meet their needs and preferences as much as possible.

We will always communicate any changes to the itinerary to our clients as soon as possible, to avoid any inconvenience or confusion. We believe that clear and timely communication is essential to ensure a smooth and enjoyable safari experience for our clients.

If clients request changes to the itinerary during the safari, we will do our best to accommodate their requests, subject to availability and feasibility. Any associated costs or fees will be communicated to clients before the changes are made.

We also accept payment through bank transfers, which can be a convenient option for clients who prefer to make payments directly from their bank accounts. Mobile money transfers are also available for clients who prefer to use mobile payment services such as MTN Mobile Money or Airtel Money.

Comprehensive travel insurance should cover a wide range of potential risks, including medical expenses, emergency medical transportation, trip cancellations, trip interruptions, and lost or stolen luggage. It is important for our clients to review their insurance policy carefully and ensure that it meets their specific needs and requirements.

In addition to advising our clients to purchase travel insurance, our safari company also carries liability insurance to protect our clients in case of any accidents or incidents that may occur during the safari. This provides an extra layer of protection and peace of mind for our clients, knowing that they are covered in case of any unexpected events.
