Day 01: Arrival in Entebbe

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our tour representative and transferred to your accommodation for an overnight stay. You can relax, enjoy the surroundings and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 02: Kampala City Tour

After breakfast, you will take a scenic drive to the capital city of Uganda, Kampala. Here, you will explore the city’s highlights such as the Kasubi Tombs, the Gadhafi Mosque, the Uganda Museum and the Namugongo Martyrs Shrine. You can also indulge in some shopping and try out the local cuisine at one of the restaurants.

Day 03: Jinja

After breakfast, you will depart for Jinja, the adventure capital of Uganda. Here, you will engage in activities such as bungee jumping, white water rafting, quad biking, horse riding and boat rides on the Nile River. You will then retire to your accommodation for an overnight stay.

Day 04: Sipi Falls

You will embark on a scenic drive to Sipi Falls, located in the eastern part of Uganda. Along the way, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the landscapes and stopovers at various towns. On arrival, you will take a guided hike to the falls, where you can enjoy the stunning views of the waterfalls and the surrounding areas. You will then retire to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 05: Kidepo Valley National Park

You will embark on an early morning drive to Kidepo Valley National Park, one of Uganda’s most remote and pristine national parks. The journey is long but offers stunning views of the landscapes and the local communities. You will arrive at the park in the evening and check into your accommodation for an overnight stay.

Day 06: Kidepo Valley National Park

You will spend the day exploring Kidepo Valley National Park. The park boasts of diverse wildlife such as elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes and various bird species. You will take game drives and nature walks guided by experienced rangers. You will also visit the local communities and learn about their cultures and way of life.

Day 07: Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for Murchison Falls National Park, the largest park in Uganda. Along the way, you will stop at various towns and enjoy the scenic views of the landscapes. On arrival, you will check into your accommodation for an overnight stay.

Day 08: Murchison Falls National Park

You will spend the day exploring Murchison Falls National Park, which boasts of a wide range of wildlife such as elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles and various bird species. You will take a game drive and a boat ride on the Nile River to the base of the falls, where you can take a hike to the top for stunning views of the falls and the surrounding areas.

Day 09: Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive to Kibale Forest National Park, known for its primates such as chimpanzees, baboons, and various monkey species. You will arrive in the afternoon and check into your accommodation for an overnight stay.

Day 10: Kibale Forest National Park

You will spend the day exploring Kibale Forest National Park, where you will take guided nature walks, chimpanzee tracking and bird watching. In the afternoon, you will drive to the diverse Queen Elizabeth National Park for your next adventure.

Day 11: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Get up early and head out for a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is famous for its diverse range of wildlife including elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and more. You will have an opportunity to spot animals like warthogs, antelopes, hyenas, and other predators. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake George to Lake Edward, where you will have an opportunity to see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of water birds.

Day 12: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

After breakfast, drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, home to half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. The drive will take you through some stunning scenery, including the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is famous for its tree-climbing lions. Upon arrival in Bwindi, check into your lodge and relax for the rest of the evening.

Day 13: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Today is the highlight of the trip – the gorilla trekking experience. After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters where you will be briefed on the trek and allocated a gorilla family to visit. The trek can take anywhere from 2-8 hours depending on the location of the gorillas, but the experience of seeing these magnificent creatures up close is truly unforgettable.

Day 14: Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest national park in Uganda. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including zebras, impalas, warthogs, and buffaloes. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on Lake Mburo, where you will have an opportunity to see crocodiles, hippos, and a variety of water birds.

Day 15: Lake Mburo National Park

Wake up early for a morning game drive in Lake Mburo National Park, where you will have a chance to spot animals like zebras, impalas, warthogs, buffaloes, and more. After the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast, and then have a leisurely afternoon enjoying the beautiful scenery and relaxing in the lodge.

Day 16: Departure

After breakfast, drive back to Entebbe, where you will catch your flight back home or to your next destination. En route, you can make a stop at the equator for some photos and souvenir shopping. This marks the end of your amazing Ugandan safari.
